  • An initial supply of culturally appropriate handouts, exam/waiting room posters, and supplies at no cost.
  • Tips that can be shared with parents and caregivers.
  • Guidelines to help you refer children to a dental home.
  • Ongoing support and technical assistance  from the First Tooth staff on systems-based implementation, workflow and clinical instruction.

  • Early childhood caries (tooth decay), is the most common chronic disease of early childhood.
  • Early childhood caries is five times more common than asthma and seven times more common than hay fever.
